"I’m 12% Irish, 16% German, 30% Italian, 24% French, 15% Swedish, 3% Cherokee…"
the most important thing I’ve learned since this post got popular is that nothing offends white Americans more than pointing out that…
Hi Korean here,
Asian people don’t flip out due to being called Asian rather they flip out because they get called Chinese pretty damn frequently by most if not all non asian people. Now how would you think it would make you feel as a nonchinese or as a Chinese person that everyone thought that you were Chinese? Essentially it’s as if I were to call every white person with blonde hair and blue eyes German. I’m pretty damn sure the Nordic people would get pretty damn pissed and so would the Irish and whoever else has blue eyes blonde hair. Now put a lifetime of that and change the terminology a little bit. And you have an angry Asian. Honestly I don’t get mad because I get it I sometimes get Chinese people and Koreans mixed up and stuff I call all brown people Mexican and whatever because in America we’re all the same. However if you wanted to know why they get pissed, there is your answer.
^This (except I’m Vietnamese).
Statistically speaking if your family contains more than 3 adults there is a high likelihood you are related to someone who owns a gun because roughly 33% of Americans are firearms owners.
If we were talking about a country like Switzerland that likelihood would be even high since about 50% of their population are gun owners.
No one in my dirrect family owns any firearms(other than myself obviously) but I do have an uncle and a cousin who hunt and own firearms.
